One can make a circuit breaker as follows: 12V solenoid with plunger battery connector pliers polyboard base 20 x 30 cm 220R resistor paperclip LED 4 crocodile clips adhesive tape aluminium foil wire wire strippers scissors 9V battery six 2.5 cm polyboard squares double sided adhesive tape 1. Push the legs of LED and the resistor through a polyboard square so that longer leg (anode) of LED is next to a resistor leg. Using pliers, twist the two legs together. Bend the free legs so that they project beyond the square. 2. Bend paperclip into a right angle to make a contact. Tape the horizontal part to the base and connect it to positive battery terminal. Mount LED square on two more squares fixed vertically to the base. Connect free LED leg to the negative terminal.
